The Commission on the Constitution conducts wide-ranging and integrated research on the Constitution of Japan and basic laws closely related to the Constitution of Japan, and conducts deliberations on bills to amend the Constitution, initiations of amendments related to the Constitution of Japan and bills related to a national referendum.
